FAQ
Basically, it is a truck pulling multiple trailers. In more technical terms, longer combination vehicles (LCVs) are advanced freight transport configurations comprising a tractor unit towing multiple trailers. These vehicles, often exceeding traditional length and weight limits, enhance transportation efficiency by significantly increasing cargo capacity per journey. LCVs play a pivotal role in optimizing logistics operations, reducing overall transportation costs, and mitigating carbon emissions by minimizing the number of trips required to transport goods.

In Alberta, a driver’s abstract is an official document issued by Alberta Transportation that provides a summary of a driver’s driving record. It contains information such as license status, demerit points, suspensions, convictions, and any other relevant details related to the individual’s driving history. Driver’s abstracts are often required for various purposes, including employment screenings, insurance applications, and legal proceedings. They serve as a means for employers, insurance companies, and other authorized entities to assess a driver’s eligibility, reliability, and risk level based on their driving history.
